Q: How does someone learn about sound when he’s just getting started?
A: Well, I’ll give the same answer that was given me when I was just getting started: Read brochures. Manufacturers print literature about their equipment, and we try to keep it all on hand at Leo’s Pro Audio. You can learn about all kinds of equipment this way. Some manufacturers print application notes that give detailed information on how to use different kinds of equipment.
